I want to echo what Scott said.  Everyone should read the topic controversy
papers in order to make an informed decision about next year's topic.  It is
evident upon reading the papers that a great deal of work was put into each
paper.  I also encourage everyone to review and participate in the topic
blog, where thoughts and concerns about each of the papers can be
