Position: Debate Coach
Requisition Number: R-784; Position Number: 997132
Job Description/Responsibilities: Directing the UCO debate program, budget
development & management, recruitment, scholarship distribution, organizing
in-service debate programs, and organizing the Joe C. Jackson College
Debate Tournament and the Great Mid-West High School Debate Tournament.
Both events are held on the UCO campus. The successful candidate will be
responsible for tournament scheduling, travel arrangements, and judging
responsibilities, and must be willing and able to travel with students to
tournaments. Our goal is to maintain a multi-level debate program that is
regionally and nationally competitive.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Demonstration of successful coaching experience is required and previous
experience in organizing debate tournaments is preferred.
Recommended Salary: $32,500 -$37,000 (DOE)
