the liberal blogs uniformly misunderstood the "1% doctrine" as a piece of irrational general risk analysis theory.  then they went off about how that showed the administration to be hypocritical, irrational, and opposed to reasoned deliberation.
 
several folks, myself included, pointed out how badly the lib bloggers misunderstood what it was.  it is a piece of security strategy.  and i had read NO response by any of the lib bloggers to that understanding of the doctrine.  not that i hadn't read a refutation of the strategy itself... i had a pretty good idea you all would not like it one bit... just no answer to what the 1% doctrine IS.you can generate almost as good responses to your examples as i can.  how cool would it be if you did that instead of just typing out moldy ideology?
