i went to youtube and typed debate. Steve Hunt (ESU alum) posted a practice
round with some former esu debaters from the early 90's, including CEDA
runner-up Haefele. Here's the URL.

if anyone else wants to try to prove that debate was better 16 years ago,
please, post some videos. My conclusion from what i saw: ya'll are hyped too
much. granted, 15 second clips are hardly a fair judgement.
